Unified multi-platform email: IMAP pulls the inbox, SMTP sends. Passwords/app passwords never enter the database — you only fill in an environment variable name; the value is read at runtime.
After saving, the status becomes 'configured, pending activation'; the first sync requires Human-Gate approval; the system only receives and never sends beyond drafts.
⚠ For sensitive credentials, enter only an environment variable name — never the real value; store real values in local environment variables.
Generate an app password in your mail provider's panel (e.g. Gmail App Password), store it in a local environment variable, and enter only the variable name here.
